The nature of today’s world has us all wincing as we watch the 6 o’clock news, slumping despondently in our cars as we listen to newsreaders telling us about the latest tragedy each morning, and sighing sadly as we scan the headlines of newspapers over a Sunday coffee.

At times, joy can be hard to find.
